Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using South Prompts. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Interpretation and Definitions

Words with an initial capital letter have meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether the terms appear in singular or plural.

Referred to as “We”, “Us”, or “Our” – refers to South Prompts.

The individual accessing or using the Service, or the legal entity on whose behalf such individual is acting.

Prompt

A text instruction or description published on the Service, intended to be used as input to an AI generation tool.

Content

All text prompts, accompanying AI-generated images, and other materials displayed on the Service.

AI-Generated Image

A visual output produced by a generative AI model and displayed on the Service for illustrative purposes only.

Device

Any computer, phone, or tablet used to access the Service.

These Terms of Service, forming the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding use of the Service.

2. What South Prompts Provides

South Prompts is a curated AI prompt library. We publish text prompts across creative, professional, and technical categories that you can read, copy, and use in your own AI tools and workflows.

Each prompt is accompanied by one or more AI-generated images that illustrate one possible visual output. These images are displayed for context only and are not available for download, redistribution, or any other use.

No account required.

You can browse, read, and copy prompts without creating an account or providing any personal information.

Site Analytics. To help us improve the library and understand which content is most useful, we log anonymized data when you interact with or copy prompts. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

3. Prompt Usage Rights

We grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to copy and use any text prompt published on South Prompts for personal or commercial generation purposes. No attribution to South Prompts is required.

What this means

  • You may copy prompts and use them in any AI tool you choose.
  • You may use prompts for commercial projects, client work, or your own products.
  • You do not need to credit South Prompts when using prompts.
  • You may modify, combine, or build upon prompts freely.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All prompts are curated or produced with the assistance of AI language models. By using any prompt, you acknowledge that:

  • Output quality and accuracy depend on the AI platform, model version, and settings you use.
  • South Prompts does not guarantee any specific result from using a prompt.
  • Similar prompts may exist elsewhere; we make no claim to uniqueness.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of prompts and your generated output complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

Output Liability

You assume full responsibility for any content you generate using prompts from this Service, including any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or defamation concerns that may arise from your generated output. South Prompts is not liable for the results of your AI generation activity.

Note on replication.

Due to the stochastic nature of generative AI, you may not be able to reproduce the exact images displayed on this site, even when using the same prompt. Displayed images represent one possible output, not a guaranteed result.

4. AI-Generated Images

AI-generated images on South Prompts are illustrative only. They exist to help you understand what a prompt can produce. They are not a product or download.

What applies to displayed images

  • Images are not available for download, redistribution, or commercial use.
  • Images do not depict real people, places, or events unless explicitly stated.
  • Faces and figures shown are entirely fictional creations generated by AI for illustrative purposes.
  • Images may have undergone minor post-processing (cropping, colour correction, or upscaling) for presentation.
  • We do not knowingly strip or corrupt AI provenance metadata (such as C2PA or SynthID signals) embedded in image files.
  • We make no ownership claims over AI-generated images displayed on the Service.

Synthetic Media and Deepfake Laws

Many jurisdictions regulate synthetic media and AI-generated depictions of people. If you generate images using prompts from this Service, you are solely responsible for complying with applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including disclosure requirements, prohibitions on deceptive synthetic media, and privacy or publicity rights.

No real people depicted.

All persons shown in AI-generated images on South Prompts are fictional. Do not misrepresent these images as depicting real individuals.

5. Acceptable Use

Permitted uses

  • Browse, read, and search for prompts.
  • Copy prompts for personal or commercial AI generation purposes.
  • Share links to the Service or individual prompt pages.
  • Reference or quote prompt content with attribution.

Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or infrastructure.
  • Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access the Service in a way that burdens our infrastructure or systematically harvests content for a competing prompt library or AI training dataset.
  • Upload, transmit, or introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Impersonate the Company or falsely claim association with South Prompts.
  • Remove or obscure any legal notices on the Service.
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer any aspect of the Service.
  • Use prompts or generated output to create illegal, defamatory, or harmful materials.
  • Use AI-generated images from the Service in any way, as they are not available for use outside the Service.

6. Advertising

The Service displays third-party advertisements through Google AdSense. By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

  • Advertisements are provided by Google and other third-party networks.
  • We do not control or endorse advertised products or services.
  • Clicking on an advertisement may redirect you to an external website.
  • Third-party advertisers may use cookies and tracking technologies. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Intellectual Property

Our intellectual property

The following are the property of South Prompts and may not be used without express written permission:

  • The South Prompts name, logo, and brand identity.
  • The website design, layout, and visual identity.
  • The Service’s code, databases, and infrastructure.
  • Any proprietary tools or features built into the Service.

The non-exclusive right granted in Section 3 covers text prompts only. It does not extend to our brand, design, or any other element of the Service.

Third-party intellectual property

If you believe any content on the Service infringes your intellectual property rights, please see Section 8 (Copyright and DMCA) for how to notify us.

8. Copyright Policy and DMCA

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and respond to valid claims of copyright infringement. If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our copyright agent at contact@southprompts.com containing:

  1. An electronic or physical signature of the person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, including the URL where it exists or a copy of the work.
  3. The URL or specific location on the Service where the allegedly infringing material is located.
  4. Your address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

Note: You may be held liable for damages if you knowingly misrepresent that content is infringing.

Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with the same contact details and a statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed in error.

Upon receipt of a valid notification, we will take whatever action we deem appropriate in our sole discretion, including removal of the challenged content.

9. Links to Other Websites

The Service may contain links to third-party websites that are not owned or controlled by South Prompts. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. We strongly recommend reading the terms and privacy policy of any external site you visit.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Any prompts you have already copied remain usable under the rights granted in Section 3, provided your use does not otherwise violate these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the entire liability of South Prompts under any provision of these Terms and your exclusive remedy shall be limited to USD 100, given that the Service is provided free of charge.

In no event shall South Prompts or its affiliates be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or personal injury, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Specific limitations

South Prompts is not liable for:

  • The quality, accuracy, or appropriateness of AI-generated content accessed via the Service.
  • Any content you generate using prompts from the Service.
  • Actions by third-party advertisers.
  • Content of external websites linked from the Service.
  • Data loss or technical failures.
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

12. “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” Disclaimer

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, with all faults and defects and without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, South Prompts expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

South Prompts makes no warranty that:

  • The Service will meet your requirements or be available at all times.
  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • Results obtained from using prompts on the Service will be accurate or reliable.
  • The quality of any prompt or AI-generated image will meet your expectations.
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected.

You use the Service entirely at your own risk.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless South Prompts and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your access to or use of the Service.
  • Any content you generate using prompts from the Service.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Any claim that your use of content generated via Service prompts caused damage to a third party.

This obligation survives termination of these Terms and your use of the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kerala, India, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Your use of the Service may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws applicable to you.

15. Dispute Resolution

Informal resolution

If you have a concern or dispute about the Service, you agree to first attempt informal resolution by contacting us at contact@southprompts.com.

Binding arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant arbitration body in Kerala, India.

Class action waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

16. EU and US Compliance

European Union users

If you are an EU consumer, you benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you reside. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under those mandatory provisions.

United States users

You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo, or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and are not listed on any US government prohibited or restricted parties list.

17. Severability and Waiver

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be modified to accomplish its objective to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Waiver

Failure to exercise a right or require performance of an obligation under these Terms shall not affect the ability to exercise that right or require performance at any later time, nor shall a waiver of a breach constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.

Translation

If these Terms are translated into other languages, the original English text shall prevail in the event of any dispute.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and South Prompts regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior understandings.

18. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days’ notice before the new terms take effect, via a prominent notice on the Service.

By continuing to use the Service after changes become effective, you agree to the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, please stop using the Service.
